The EVES Open World Tennis Tour Tauranga is set to serve up another thrilling week of world-class tennis this December, bolstered by a $40,000 funding boost from TECT to enhance this year’s event.
Pāpāmoa will host rising tennis stars from across the globe. Now in its third year, the event will see rising stars from around the world take on our own top Kiwi talent, with the aim of climbing the ladder of the professional tennis circuit. Tennis at this level is exciting to behold up close and this is a very special opportunity for the Tauranga community to catch it in their own backyard!
The EVES Open, part of the official world tennis circuit, allows players to compete for world rankings points as they begin their professional journeys. With its seaside summer vibe, enthusiastic local crowds, and great facilities, Tauranga continues to shine as the perfect host city for this prestigious event.

At Papamoa Tennis we pride ourselves on a friendly and relaxed vibe, that reflects the coastal community we live in. We're based at the Gordon Spratt Reserve, Papamoa.
We offer a welcoming and fun atmosphere with a range of social and competitive play available for all ages - all year round. We host many wonderful social events for club members and have awesome coaching available for all levels of play.
We have excellent playing facilities with 12 plexipave courts and 4 tiger turf astrograss courts. All of the courts have been resurfaced within the last few years.
Become a member and join the fun! As a member, you will have full access to our superb facilities, coaching and social events.
We offer a range of coaching and playing opportunities for juniors, seniors and families.
Booking a court online is simple and convenient. The courts are available to members, guests and casual players for personal use. Guests and casual guests can book and pay online for a time that suits.
