Northland Senior Interclub 2024-2025

The Tennis Northland Senior Interclub Competition runs from September to April, with a Christmas break from mid-December to early February.

• Mondays, 6pm
• Teams of 4 - 8 players
• A & B grades
• Singles matches - first to 9 games with a super tiebreaker at 8 all (first to 10 points with a 2 point margin).
• Doubles matches - best of 3 tiebreaker sets with a super tiebreaker (first to 10 points with 2 point margin) played instead of a third set.
• $140 per team

The first round will start on 30 September 2024, and run until no later than 9 December 2024 (the number of weeks played will be determined by how many teams enter). The second round will start on 10 February 2025, and run until no later than 7 April 2025.

• A Grade Post-Christmas Draw
• B Grade Post-Christmas Draw

Clarification of Points and Playoff / Finals Rounds

After the last matches in December 2024, all points will be carried over to next year's draw and round two of both A and B grades.

Another full round of competition will be held, the draw for this will be sent out before the end of November.  

Round two will start on 10 February 2025 and all teams will play each other again.

The total of both rounds will be accumulated to determine each teams standings.

From here there will be another two weeks of play to determine overall placings for the 2024/2025 Northland Senior Interclub Grades A and B.

Each division will be sorted into top 4 and bottom 4 teams in their grade.

And will play off as follows (for placings).

• 1 v 4
• 2 v 3
• 5 v 8
• 6 v 7

In the final week of competition the winners of the above matches will play each other, and the losing teams will match off to determine overall placings in the competition.
