The open day includes FREE coaching, tennis games, information desk, giveaways and prizes, and free BBQ. Loan racquets available.
Just by attending you will be able to enter the draw to win coaching lessons and the ultimate prize of a trip for two to the ASB Classic 2026.

Kilbirnie Tennis Club is a friendly club that welcomes and supports new members. We're about building skills, fostering competition, and providing recreation in a positive, inclusive, and fun environment.
Located on the edge of the inner green belt, Kilbirnie Tennis Club is Wellington's most picturesque tennis club. It has two hard courts on one level and three artificial turf courts on an upper level.
As one of the largest tennis clubs in the Central Region, it provides a wide range of services designed to support both adults and children in leading healthy, active lives. These include professional coaching, development programmes for all ages, enjoyable social tennis, competitive tennis, and tournaments.
Kilbirnie Tennis Club has also been recognised for its excellence, earning various recent awards including:
- Coach of the Year at the Tennis Central Region Annual Awards 2025
- Club of the Year at the Wellington Regional Sports and Recreation Awards 2019 and Tennis Central Region Awards 2018
- Volunteer of the Year at the Tennis New Zealand Awards 2024 and Tennis Central Region Awards 2024.
